This convenient LCD prototyping shield integrates two 16 pin headers for use with Hitachi HD44780 compatible LCD's. The output from the onboard I2C Digital to Analog Converter (MCP4725), a small speaker and push button are brought out to a header for easy connection.

This kit comes with the DAC surface mount component installed. The through-hole components are included but need to be installed. The LCD is not included in this kit. Soldering is required.

Convenient prototyping space is provided for mounting of chips, LEDs, connectors, etc.
